How do I get a key or access card to my office or classroom?To obtain a key or access card have your department send a completed Building/Parking Access Request form to the Access Control department in Carlsen Center 115, Box 12. On the form, list all the room numbers you will need access for. All Building/Parking Access Request forms must have your Budget Administrator's signature before we can process your request. Employees can also request access to campus doors through the Online Access Request System (OARS) which is found in the General Applications section when you're logged in MyJCCC. File cabinet, desk and other miscellaneous keys should be requested on the Building/Parking Access Request form. What should I do if I lose my college key or access card?Report any lost college keys or access cards immediately to the Access Control department. Is there a charge for replacing a lost key or access card?There are fees for replacing lost college keys or access cards. A deposit
must be paid at the Business Office, GEB 115, and a receipt obtained prior
to any replacement of keys or access cards.
Is there a charge for replacing a damaged key or card?No fee is charged for damaged keys or access cards. However, damaged items must be returned to the Access Control department in Carlsen Center 115. Who do I contact if my key or access card doesn't work?If your key or access card is not working properly, contact the Access Control department. Contact: Doug Oyer, x4492 or Aletha Douglas, x3173. Return all keys and access cards to the Access Control department located in Carlsen Center 115. Do not return them to your supervisor, director or dean. These items must be returned to the Access Control department in order to be removed from your record. Receipts will provided upon return of any keys or access cards. Where do I pick up my keys and access card?All keys and access cards may be picked up at Carlsen Center 115 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If faculty or staff are unable to adjust their schedule to pick up during these hours contact the Access Control department at 469-4492, 469-3887 or 469-3173 to make special arrangements for picking your items up. How do I request a reader for one of my classroom doors?During the budget process a coordinating report should be submitted to the Access Control department specifying the room number. Who should I contact if my lock on my door isn't working?If the malfunctioning lock is on a card reader controlled door, please
contact the Access Control department at 469-4492,469-3887 or 469-3173. What should I do if I can't get my door unlocked?If you can not get your office or classroom unlocked dial "0" and request that an officer be dispatched to assist you in unlocking your space.
