Access Control Coordinator

The access control area is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of all campus facilities security and access control systems to aid in providing a safe and secure environment. Access control uses a proactive approach to enhance campus security for crime prevention. Other responsibilities of campus security include:

  • Identify security needs for campus expansion and remodeling projects.
  • Implement and manage the electronic security systems at all campus locations.
  • Assist with management and supervision of the education and training of Communication Centers staff and Public Safety and Police Officers on the electronic security systems.
  • Establish and maintain security systems standards while designing and implementing procedures to improve systems operation.
  • Oversee the integrity of the internal security databases.
