Payment Plans for Past Due Amounts

(Old balance payment plans)

Students and past students with balances owed to JCCC of at least $300 may schedule installment payments to pay off the balance. There is a $30 non-refundable fee for setting up this plan.

JCCC will not release transcripts or allow enrollment at JCCC until the balance is paid in full.

Minimum Balance Due: $300

Minimum Monthly Payment:
$50

Maximum Length of Time to Pay:
Two Years

Cost to set up the Payment Plan:
$30, non-refundable due when you sign up

Payment Methods Accepted*:

  • Checking or Savings Account provided you do not have returned checks due to JCCC
  • Debit or Credit Card, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa

*Note if you have a returned check hold on your account you will not be able to pay by check. You may use your debit card associated with the checking account.

How to Enroll in the Payment Plan:

1. Be sure you can log into My JCCC

a. Go to www.jccc.edu and click on MyJCCC in the upper right corner

b. If you do not remember your username or password, use the prompts to help you get logged in. If you cannot log in, you will need to come to JCCC’s Student Success Center and show your identification to obtain your username and/or reset your password.

2. Once in MyJCCC, you can click on “My Finances” tab to see the amount you owe to JCCC.

3. Consider what you want your monthly payment to be or the length of time over which you can pay off your balance. See restrictions above. Log out of “My Finances” and MyJCCC.

4. Call the JCCC Business Office, 913-469-2567, to work with a customer service representative to set up your payment plan.

5. Log back into MyJCCC and click on “My Finances” tab and enroll in the payment plan. You may make a down payment to reduce your future installments but it is not required.

6. Any down payment and the $30 set up fee will come out immediately via the payment method you set up for the plan.

7. The first installment will automatically come out one month from the day you set up this plan.
