| Welcome to the Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Johnson County Community College. The acknowledgement, celebration, and promotion of the diverse experiences and lives of the people on our campus and in our communities have long been goals of our college. With the establishment of this office, a visible center for our work, we are advancing our commitment in tangible terms. “Learning Comes First at JCCC” is central to our mission to enrich learning by creating educational and professional experiences which are diverse, integrated, safe, respectful and excellent in all dimensions. The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ODEI) and the Division of Learner Engagement have launched their Intentional Connections Student Success Mentoring Program for full-time credit students.[more] Autism Spectrum Disorder: Beyond the Diagnosis III - October 14 & 15, 2010Conference sessions will address areas of interest of families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder, their health care providers, educators, caretakers of children and young adults, advocates, social services, and first responders. Continuing education credits will be available for some pre-conference workshops.
