The Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund was established to provide
education assistance for postsecondary study to members of families
impacted by events of September 11, 2001. Contributors to the fund want
to ensure that the children and spouses of those who died or were
permanently disabled will have the opportunity to continue their
education. The funds raised will be for the Families of Freedom
Scholarship Fund initiated by the Lumina Foundation for Education and the
