Welcome to JCCC E-mail Advising. E-mail Advising is designed to answer quick questions a current or prospective student may have. Please keep in mind that there are limitations to this format. If you have a question that requires a significant amount of discussion, it would be best to come in to see a counselor. Refer to the information below to see if your question is appropriate for online advising.
Due to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations, we are not able to discuss personal information online. Do not send your SSN, student ID number, or any identifying information while using online advising. If you are a current student, using your stumail account can ensure more privacy.
Please ask specific questions and allow time for a response. Your questions will be answered in 1 to 2 business days. You may want to refer to information located on the website, as the answer to your question may be found there as well.
