Fee-based online career assessments (Strong Interest Inventory, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator): The Strong Interest Inventory (SII) is an assessment of interests that uses the theory of John Holland’s personality types. The SII establishes a Holland Code, and then provides an in-depth, personalized report on the individual’s overall pattern of interests. A counselor from the Career Services Center or Counseling Services must provide a student with a referral for this fee-based online assessment. A follow-up counseling session is required to interpret assessment results

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assesses personality type preferences to establish a four- letter code. Understanding one’s personality type preference provides a foundation to explore career options. A counselor from the Career Services Center or Counseling Services must provide a student with a referral for this fee-based online assessment. A follow-up counseling session is required to interpret assessment results.
