Testing Lab & Lockers

The Testing Lab is located in the Student Center, 334 SC. A variety of tests are administered in the Lab.

ACT American College Testing

The ACT Assessment is a nationally accepted college admission examination consisting of tests in English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science Reasoning.

ADA Testing Services

Services are available for those students needing accommodations during testing.

Distance Learning Testing

JCCC testing lab provides a proctored environment for the administration of correspondence/distance learning exams as a service to the community.

Entry Level Tests (COMPASS)

Any student who will be taking courses for credit at JCCC is required to complete the assessment test.

GED at JCCC

The tests measure high school-level achievement in five subject areas: Language Arts, Writing; Language Arts, Reading; Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics.

PLA - Prior Learning Assessment

Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) is a program at JCCC that provides credit for knowledge acquired outside the traditional classroom. Students who demonstrate and/or document previous learning may be able to earn college credit.
