As a Career Information Specialist in the Career Services Center, Pat's work sometimes takes her into classrooms to present information on resume writing and job interviewing. In the center she conducts tours of the center to visiting classes or works with individual students by providing resume critiques, conducting mock interviews, and offering whatever assistance is needed to help students utilize the many resources available to them in the center.

Prior to joining the Career Services Center, Pat worked in Testing Services at JCCC as a Testing Assistant for 7-1/2 years. She has her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Southwest Missouri State University. She has spent many years in education, both as a secondary English and Spanish teacher, and as a substitute teacher. Her main interest these days is spending time with her granddaughter, Kathryn, but other interests include growing and sharing flowers, sewing and making her famous oatmeal cookies.
