Federal Work Study is a need-based federal program that is awarded to
students after completing their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal
Student Aid).
Federal Work Study (FWS) funds are awarded on a
first come, first served basis. Students who receive FWS funds one
year may not be awarded funds in a subsequent year if their applications
are not received before FWS funds are expended.
