Students who are working toward completing the Honors Program are encouraged to spend a semester studying abroad. The experience is credited with broadening horizons, shifting perspectives and changing lives. A semester abroad fulfills the requirement for taking a 3-credit hour interdisciplinary course in the Honors Program. Additionally, students may arrange for a special honors contract to be completed during their time abroad. Arrangements for the contract must be made prior to leaving JCCC and coordinated with the Honors Office.
