Phi Theta Kappa

Phi Theta Kappa is an Honor Society for two-year colleges. Its mission is to 1) recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and, 2) provide opportunities for individual growth and development through honors, leadership, service, and fellowship programming.

The JCCC chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, called Alpha Iota Gamma, is very active and is housed in the Honors Program office in COM 201. Students who meet the academic criteria are invited to join the organization each semester and are encouraged to participate in the opportunities it offers, both locally and nationally.
