Dutch Exchange Program
Divider

Netherlands Canal JCCC partners with the ROC Association for Dutch International ConneXions (RADIX) to coordinate two-week professional and cultural exchange opportunities between faculty at community colleges in the US and 24 participating colleges in the Netherlands.

Selected participants are matched as closely as possible with a Dutch faculty member or administrator with similar job responsibilities and personal preferences. Because the Dutch colleges work almost exclusively with training programs, faculty and staff from JCCC career programs are most likely to be matched.

The two colleagues visit each other's campuses for two weeks each to network, share ideas, and learn from each other. The Dutch participants will visit JCCC from October 10-24, 2009, and our participants will travel to the Netherlands May 15-29, 2010. Dutch Bikes by Bruce Harvey To enhance the cultural aspect of the exchange and to hold down expenses, participants stay in their exchange partner's home during their visit. The common language is English.

The application deadline is usually in late March or early April.

When the 2010-2011 dates, application, and application deadline are available, they will be posted on this site.
