International and Immigrant Student Services assists international and immigrant students, faculty, staff and community members with issues related to immigration status, visa and passport issues, JCCC documentation requirements, regulatory advisement and cultural adjustment, etc., and offers related programming and support.

Children's Center

The Hiersteiner Child Development Center is licensed by the Kansas State Department of Health and Environment and accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs. The HCDC provides child care and education on a part- or full-time basis.

Cooperative Programs

Johnson County Community College and the Metropolitan Community College District (MCC) have developed cooperative agreements that allow Johnson County residents to enroll in selected career programs at resident cost-per-credit-hour rates.

Financial Aid Office

The mission of the Financial Aid Office at JCCC is to provide courteous assistance to students in the process of applying for and attaining financial aid in order to fulfill their educational goals while in accordance with institutional and federal regulations.

Success Center

The Student Success Center is an interactive resource center offering prospective and current students nearly every informational resource and service necessary to succeed at JCCC, in one location. Professional staff is available to answer questions and assist with access and use of all resources and services.

Testing & Assessment

This office provides a variety of services including administration of assessment tests for all students enrolled in credit courses. Other types of tests include proficiency tests, telecourse tests, distance learning tests, and instructor make-up tests for students who have missed a regularly scheduled exam. In addition, the center administers standardized tests such as the ACT, CLEP, GED and others.
