Health Occupation Programs

Area Vocational School Programs include cosmetology and health occupations programs.

Brown and Gold Club

Brown & Gold Club membership is open to Johnson County residents over the age of 55 and provides reduced tuition for most continuing education classes, free access to most credit classes (on a space-available basis) and a variety of social events.

Johnson County Resident Programs (cooperative)

Johnson County Community College and Metropolitan Community College have developed cooperative agreements that allow students to avoid paying out of state tuition for certain programs.

Foster Child Education Assistance

Senate Bill 85 provides an opportunity for foster care children in the custody of the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services and in foster care placement to enroll at JCCC without payment of tuition.

High School and Home School

High school sophomores, juniors and seniors can take classes on campus or at their high school for college credit.

International and Immigrant Student Services

Students who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents are served through the Intercultural Center.

Programs with Selective Admissions

Selective admission programs have a limited number of openings each year and have specific entry-level admission requirements that must be met before selection for admission to the program.

Visiting Students

Students attending another institution who wish to take a class at JCCC.
