On April 19, 2007, the JCCC board of trustees approved a modification to the college’s existing Smoke-Free Campus policy, 422.05.

Smoking is only  permitted in outdoor designated, posted areas. Signs will be posted throughout campus identifying the designated smoking areas. This map shows the Designated Smoking Areas .

Violations
Student violations are to be reported to JCCCs Police department. Staff violations are to be reported to JCCCs Police Safety department and the individual’s supervisor.

Those individuals interested in participating in smoking cessation classes are encouraged to contact any of the following organizations for information.
