Become a residential energy auditor

JCCC's new Residential Energy Auditor certificate and Associate of Applied Science degree programs give you the opportunity to take advantage of this new and growing field.

You'll learn how to:

  • Analyze a home's performance issues
  • Diagnose problems specifically related to health, comfort and energy efficiency
  • Improve a home's energy performance with specific recommendations

Programs

These programs will prepare you to take the certification test required by the Building Performance Institute Inc. (BPI) and Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET).

Energy Perform. & Resource Mgmt-Residential Auditing, A.A.S.

Energy Auditing Technician-Residential Certificate

Fast Track - Residential Energy Auditor Certificate

(The fast track program is a late start (September) option that completes the 25 credit hour certificate requirement in 12 weeks. A fast track program is not available for the A.A.S. degree.)

Cost

The certificate program is 25 credit hours. Books, equipment and other incidental costs are NOT included in the tuition rate.
