Lieberman Adjunct Award

Description

The Lieberman Award is available to adjunct members who have been employed at Johnson County Community College for a minimum of six (6) semesters cumulatively and is designed to recognize outstanding performance by an adjunct faculty member. Previous award recipients may not receive the award again for four (4) semesters.

Nominations

Adjunct faculty member’s may be nominated by any of the following: Eligible employee him/herself, divisional colleague,division administrator, another college staff member or student.

Please contact the nominee's division office for specific details on that divison's process.

Nomination & Submission Deadlines

Selection Process

An external judge is selected to review the nominee’s portfolios and select six recipients – one will receive $750.00 and five will receive $250.00. Each nominee will receive a plaque at the Lieberman Award Dinner.

Recognition at the Annual Lieberman Award Dinner.

Additional Information

A faculty mentor is hired by Staff and Organizational Development to assist all nominees with the preparation of the portfolio. An orientation meeting will be held in December.
