Media Production provides preventative maintenance and repair on all JCCC video equipment. Our staff also provides assistance in the selection of video equipment to meet specific applications as equipment budgets are developed. When purchasing video equipment, please include a service manual in your Purchase Order Request.
Whenever possible, video equipment will be serviced and repaired in the TV Tech area (LIB 143). Either "loaner" equipment or "overnight service" will eliminate any inconvenience to faculty and staff using the video equipment.

Preventative Maintenance
Classroom and Laboratory video equipment is serviced on a regularly scheduled basis to insure consistent equipment operation.
Office video equipment is serviced on a "by request" basis only. To schedule service for video equipment located in an office, please call Steve Rego at ext. 3946.
Equipment Repair
Video equipment is repaired on an "as needed" basis. Please call Steve Rego, ext 3946, or Scott Hobson, ext 3343, when video equipment is not functioning correctly. Repair time is dependent upon the nature of the problem and the availability of replacement parts. *Please Note: Repairing video equipment without a service manual is extremely time-consuming and occasionally not possible. Please remember to include service manuals as a required item when you purchase video equipment.
