The program is designed for students who want to build confidence and skills in learning and improve their course grades and overall grade point average.
The program's courses teach thinking, learning and self-management strategies necessary for success at the college level. These include:
- textbook strategies
- listening and lecture note-taking strategies

- organizational strategies and
- time-management strategies
All strategies are practiced on materials relevant to students' current classes. Therefore, it is necessary for students to be enrolled in at least one other college course.
