GED - Official Practice Test
The GED practice test is the first step, as required by the State Department of Education, in completing the GED requirements for a Kansas High School Diploma. Candidates must pass the GED practice test from a valid ABE/GED center in order to register to take the GED test. If a candidate does not pass one or more sections of the GED practice test s/he must receive instruction from a valid ABE/GED Center and pass an alternate form of the GED practice test in that section(s). Candidates must bring proof of instruction when retesting on the GED practice test. At Johnson County Adult Education, you can take the official GED practice test, which assesses your strengths, weaknesses and likelihood of success in passing the official GED test. You and your instructor will plan a course of study especially designed for you. You must pre-register for the GED practice test by going to JCCC's Olathe Center at 1477 E. 151st St. A fee of $35, payable by check or money order to JCCC, is due at registration.
