Café Tempo in the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art has tables that spill out from the museum onto the granite floor of the atrium that connects the museum to the Regnier Center. The creative forces behind this effort are JCCC’s own Dining Services and executive chef Tim Johnson and his staff. The cafe, which seats 110, is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday. Hot breakfast and continental selections accompany award-winning coffee drinks in the morning. After touring the museum, visitors can relax with a unique appetizer, tasty salad, a mouthwatering hot panini, a tempting dessert or one of Chef Johnson’s daily artful presentations.
After the cafe closes to the public, it may be reserved for private functions. Wine and beer may be served after 5 p.m.
