The Johnson County Community College Technical College Preparation Program may grant credit to high school students in Johnson, Douglas and Miami Counties as well as to students in the JCCC Hospitality Coop Affiliate Program who have met admissions guidelines and received the ProStart National Restaurant Association Certificate.

Students outside of the JCCC Tech Prep Program area and reciprocal agreement programs have the option of pursuing Prior Learning Assessment for certain courses. This program provides credit for knowledge acquired outside the traditional classroom. Students who demonstrate and/or document previous learning may be able to earn college credit.
