Early Childhood Education Program

Mission

The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Program at Johnson County Community College is committed to improving the quality of life for all children in the community. This goal is accomplished through partnerships and linkages with local agencies, promoting developmentally appropriate practice in accordance with NAEYC guidelines, and providing high quality education for early education professionals and students. The ECE program disseminates information about child development, current trends and public policy issues that impact children and their families in the Johnson County community.
