Reciprocity Training
The Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center offers the opportunity for commissioned law enforcement officers who have completed academy training outside Kansas to apply their training toward Kansas Law Enforcement Officer Certification. Reciprocity is decided by the Director of KLETC on a case-by-case basis depending upon the training received at the alternate training academy. Once approval has been given, the officer may obtain Kansas Certification by completing the 40-hour standardized reciprocity training and any other training specified by KLETC. 93rd Class Reciprocity Schedule (PDF) 40-Hour Reciprocity Curriculum Reciprocity training is available in January and August of each year. |
