To be considered for admission to the Fire Academy course, you must complete the following steps:

• Submit the Johnson County Community College Fire Academy Admission Application . The application deadline for the 2010 spring term has passed. The deadline for the 2010 Fall term is July 20, 2010.

• Submit the Johnson County Community College Application for Admission for Credit Students
• Successfully pass the Fire Service Entrance Examination (FSEE) with a 70% of better prior to the semester for which you are applying. You can register for the FSEE by calling Johnson County Community College Prometric Testing Center at 913-469-2388.
• Applicants that meet all the requirements listed above will be contacted for an interview. The interviews will be conducted after the application deadline has passed. Successful applicants will be contacted prior to the beginning of the semester and instructed in the enrollment process.
• The top 24 applicants will be contacted prior to the beginning of the semester and instructed in enrollment procedures.
