Pastry Shop Melt-in-your-mouth, freshly-baked pastries are on sale at the Johnson County Community College pastry shop.

The Pastry Shop is open every Friday during the semester from 3 p.m. until sold out or 6 p.m.

Fall: Opening Friday, August 28.

The cakes, tortes, chocolate candies, tarts, eclairs, mousse, cookies and pies are freshly made by students in JCCC’s pastry/baking certificate program. Last year, pastry lovers started lining up 30 minutes in advance of the shop’s opening every Friday. Specialty pastries, like Thanksgiving pies and noel logs, are available at the holidays.

Proceeds from pastry sales support the students in the pastry/baking program at JCCC. Please know that the program uses the highest quality ingredients to produce its products. The shop is an educational opportunity for our students; our intention is to cover our costs. However, please be aware that all baking is performed by students in training while under the supervision of faculty at JCCC. Not every item may be available every week, and, occasionally, items may not look like the photos, as different ingredients or processes may be used that week.
