Food & Beverage Management Logo Food Service managers are expected to hold 535,000 jobs by 2010. That's an increase of 62,000 jobs annually. Management jobs in special food services will increase as hotels, schools, healthy care facilities and other businesses contract services. Click the following link for more information on program outlooks.  Food and Beverage Management

The JCCC food and beverage management program prepares graduates to enter restaurant, club or food service management as a trainee or assistant manager. One-third of all adults in the U.S. have worked in the restaurant industry at some time during their lives. Courses in supervisory management, hospitality accounting, food management, design techniques and advanced hospitality management provide a comprehensive management background. In addition, students learn food preparation skills through courses in Professional Cooking I and Professional Cooking II, menu planning, purchasing, nutrition and beverage control.
