HPER Facilities
The HPER and Sports Gymnasium is located on the west side of campus. The
HPER and Sports Gymnasium is the home of Health, Physical Education,
Recreation and Athletic Departments. The Gymnasium includes a host of
facilities for current JCCC students. Click here for a map of

Many of our facilities are reserved for Health, Physical Education and
Recreation classes and varsity team practice. To enroll in a Physical
Education class, please refer to the JCCC course catalog. To request a use
permit for the JCCC HPER or Athletic facilities, please contact the staff
at 469-8500 x4423. Students must be enrolled in a Lifetime Fitness class
and have a fitness
assessment to use the lifetime fitness center.
The opportunity for the JCCC faculty/staff to use the gymnasium, lifetime fitness center and field house area are benefits that have been negotiated by the board for all full-time employees, part-time regular employees, and adjunct faculty. All employees that are eligible, as well as their spouses and college age dependants, may use the fitness center and field house area after completing a Faculty/Staff use form and fitness assessment, which can be obtained through the Wellness program or from Ruth Dey at 469-8500, x3217. After approval of your Faculty/Staff use form, you will be processed for a Faculty/Staff user ID. This user ID will be required for each visit to the fitness center and field house area.
