The eighth Beyond Bounds offered a unique challenge for artists and one-of-a-kind art purchases for patrons.

The event, held on Oct. 24 at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, celebrated Johnson County Community College’s 40th (ruby) anniversary.

It featured spectacular works created by more than 120 prominent artists using a ruby medium.

All proceeds will benefit the museum.

Honorary chairs were Fred and Candy Merrill and Gloria and Dick Anderson.
