JCCC Music Groups Announce December Concerts

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College has two academic concerts and one community wind ensemble concert in December. All concerts are free and open to the public and scheduled at 7:30 p.m. in Polsky Theatre of the Carlsen Center.

• Tuesday, Dec. 5 – JCCC Music Masters Concert Band will perform works by Holst, Grundman and Broege and selections from the hit musical Wicked.

• Wednesday, Dec. 6 – The JC Winds, a community symphonic band, will perform works by Gould, Tucker, Whitacre and Tichelli.

• Tuesday, Dec. 12 – JCCC Jazz Night will feature the Midnight Blues Jazz Choir and the Midnight Express Jazz Ensemble.
