JCCC schedules Latino Youth Day

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Johnson County Community College will host a Latino Youth Day from 8 a.m.-1:40 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, beginning in the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art.

The schedule will be:

8 a.m.

Registration — room 212 in the Nerman Museum

9 a.m. Welcome — M.R. and Evelyn Hudson Auditorium, Nerman Museum
9:20 a.m. Breakout sessions including information on admission, financial aid, scholarships and International and Immigrant Student Services — Hudson Auditorium
11 a.m.-
1 p.m.
Latino Fiesta Day, featuring a performance by Son Venezuela, games, free food and an introduction to JCCC’s LUNA (Latino’s United: Now and Always) club — the Plaza Commons
1-1:40 p.m. Campus tour
