OVERLAND PARK, KS --  Johnson County Community College sophomore golfer Keith Erickson, a graduate of Olathe South High School, posted a third-place finish at the second Kansas Jayhawk Conference Designated earlier this week at Hesston Golf Park in Hesston, Kan.  This is Erickson second straight top-10 finish in a conference event.

Erickson fired a 36-hole total of two over par 144, three shots behind medalist Tommy Zuzelski of Dodge City.  He opened with an even par 71 and capped the tournament with second-round of 73.

Also finishing in the top-10 for JCCC was freshman Miles Christensen of Junction City, Kan.  Christensen tied for eighth with a 149 total.  He opened with a 75, and closed with a 74.

Finishing in the top-15 were sophomores Nate Sargent and Mike Elafros. Sargent placed 14th with a 153 (74-79), and Elafros was one spot back at 15th overall with a 154 total (75-79).
