Cavaliers announce second annual Winter Showcase Jan 31, 2009

OVERLAND PARK, KS -- The Johnson County Community College baseball team is pleased to announce the date of their second annual Winter Showcase. Last year over 85 players from around the country attended to showcase their skills to over 25 Major League Scouts, Junior College and NCAA Coaches.
 
Players will be evaluated on 60-yard times, home-to-first times, defensive abilities, arm strength and hitting abilities. Pitchers will showcase their arm strength, off speed, and pitching ability.
