OVERLAND PARK, KS -- The Johnson County Community College baseball team won its 10th and 11th straight games, defeating Southwestern (Iowa) Community College twice by the score of 15-2.

Freshman pitcher Tanner Neuberger remains undefeated in his college career, improving his record to 2-0 on the season. He struck out six and only allowed one run in his three innings of work. Sophomore Raul Guevara came in and struck out three batters and did not allow a hit in his two innings of work. The offense pounded out 10 hits in the five inning game behind Davis Morgan, Brian McCulloch, and Josh Piper who each collected multiple hits. John Lenherr, Davis Morgan, and Josh Piper also had multiple RBI's on the day.

In the second game, the Cavaliers offense ripped 13 hits, with seven of those hits coming in the first inning. The Cavaliers jumped out on top with 12 runs in the first frame. The first four hitters in the Cavaliers line up all collected at least two hits and one RBI (Sartin, Funk, LaMunyon, and McCulloch). Drew Mikkelson earned the win for the Cavaliers as he went three strong innings.
