Brentano String Quartet is fashionably outside the box.

Named after Antonie Brentano, considered by many to be Beethoven’s “Immortal Beloved,” the Brentano String Quartet has worked closely with some of the most important composers of our time, and will perform Brahms' Clarinet Quintet and Schubert’s G Major Quartet in Yardley Hall.

Joining the ensemble is gifted clarinetist Charles Neidich, who has been described as one of the most mesmerizing musicians performing before the public today.

The distinctive sounds and compelling performances of Brentano leave their audiences feeling “closer” to the classics.

“A smart quartet that takes risks …” – The New York Times

“A magnificent string quartet ... This was wonderful, selfless music making.” – The Times, London
