What is the Cavalier Leadership Development Program?
The Cavalier Leadership Development Program is open to all JCCC students who have the desire to develop as a leader. Participants must be enrolled in credit courses at JCCC and have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. The workshops will be facilitated by JCCC faculty/staff and professional leadership speakers.

How do I complete the Cavalier Leadership Development Program?
In order to earn a certificate, you participate in a majority of workshops offered during either the fall or spring semester (10-12 sessions offered per semester). The first workshop is an orientation session designed to provide you with further details about the program and introduce you to the topic of leadership. The remaining sessions will focus on topics related to leadership such as, how to conduct meetings, organization/time management, presentations/public speaking, discovering your strengths, and much more!

Why should I complete the Cavalier Leadership Development Program?
This is an opportunity for you to develop confidence and practical leadership skills that will serve you well during your time at JCCC and beyond. Earning your certificate upon completion of the program will provide valuable documentation to utilize when applying for acceptance to other universities and/or future employment.
