The Brown and Gold Club is for people who have been Johnson County
residents for at least 6 months and are age 55 or older. Enrollment for
spring 2010 courses for Brown and Gold Club members is on January 19, 2010
in the Student Success Center, second floor Student Center from 8 a.m. to
10:30 a.m.
B&G students who have enrolled in classes within the last 2 years may
enroll by phone or Web as of 8 a.m. on January 19 to receive their free
courses. B&G members who enroll prior to 8 a.m. on January 19 will be
charged tuition. These students may not drop the class then reenroll on
January 19 to receive the tuition discount. Please note, B&G members
auditing classes are not eligible for reduced tuition and must pay tuition
and fees in full.
New B&G students, or those who have not attended in the last 2 years, will
need to make certain their B&G status is up-to-date. This may involve
completing a new B&G application. These students must also complete a JCCC
Student Application. To simplify the enrollment processes, students should
submit these applications prior to January 19, and make certain they
indicate on their JCCC Student Application that they are B&G members.
B&G students must follow the college policy regarding enrollment
deadlines. Late registration for courses will not be permitted.
