Ann Marie Cerra Watson Scholarship

Amount: Varies.
Type: Merit
Eligibility: Student must be in the JCCC dental hygiene program. All first-year dental hygiene students will be provided with a scholarship application during the second semester. Students must complete two semesters in the dental hygiene program. A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required and students must be enrolled in a minimum of 10 credit hours.

Dental Hygiene Alumni Scholarship

Amount: Varies.
Type: Merit
Eligibility: Awarded to a first-year dental hygiene student at JCCC. At the end of the fall semester, the recipient will be chosen and receive the first award in the spring and if the recipient remains in good standing will receive the second award inthe fall of their second year. All first-year dental hygiene students will be provided with a scholarship application during the fall semester. Recipient will be selected based on the recommendation of the dental hygiene program director. The JCCC scholarship application and the JCCC admission application are required.

Kansas Dental Hygienists' Association Scholarship

Amount: Varies. Award covers tuition and books only.
Type: Merit
Eligibility: Student must be in the JCCC dental hygiene program. All first-year dental hygiene students will be provided with a scholarship application during the spring semester. The JCCC scholarship application and the JCCC admission application are required.

Robin Almsberger Scholarship

Amount: $750. Award covers tuition, books, and program needs, with excess funds to the student.
Type: Merit/Need
Eligibility: Awarded annually to a first-year dental hygiene student at JCCC. All first-year dental hygiene students will be provided with a scholarship application during the second semester. Recipient will be a non-traditional student, with preference given to women with children, prior dental assisting experience, SADHA membership, and community service involvement. Students must be enrolled in the Dental Hygiene program and be recommended for this award by the assistant dean. The JCCC scholarship and admission applications are required. Must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours and have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Overland Park Regional Medical Center

Amount: Varies. Award covers tuition, books and program needs, with excess funds to the student.
Type: Merit
Eligibility: Consideration is given to full-time and part-time students who are enrolled in a health-related field, including Dental Hygiene, Emergency Medical Science, Nursing and Respiratory Care. The JCCC scholarship application and the JCCC admission application are required. Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
