Description:
This course is a continuation of CWEB 106, Introduction Web Pages:
FrontPage, and will cover intermediate-level commands and techniques
required to create and enhance a FrontPage Web site. Topics to be covered
will include shared borders and themes, publishing a Web site, new Web
site creation on a Web server, database integration and using office
components and styles. 1 hr. lecture/wk.

- Change a picture's characteristics.
- Create a hover button.
- Add dynamic HTML effects to a Web page.
- Use a Wizard to create a new Web site.
- Create and change the navigational structure of a Web site.
- Customize a theme and apply it to a Web site.
- Create a search Web page using a template.
- Create a Web page that contains a form.
- Publish a Web site.
- Create a hit counter and a banner ad in a Web page.
- Set permissions for a Web site.
- Use the Import Web Wizard to import a Web site from a URL.
- Create a site map.
- Create a shared template.
- Use a Wizard to create a discussion group.
- Post, reply to, and search for messages in a discussion group.
- Import an Access database into a FrontPage Web.
- Verify a database connection and set a Web site to run scripts.
- Insert a Database Results region in a Web page.
- Create a form that sends data to an Access database.
- Create and use a data access page.

Methods of Evaluation of Competencies:
Evaluation of student mastery of course competencies will be accomplished using the following methods:
A minimum of four projects 60% of course grade
A minimum of two exams 40% of course grade

70 - 79% C
60 - 69% D
0 - 59% F
