Come join the JCCC Baseball team for Youth Baseball Day at JCCC. The JCCC Baseball team and Coaching staff will offering a free clinic for all boys from Johnson County ages 5-14. Come meet the players and the Coaches who will be directing this summer baseball clinics, while they teach the proper baseball techniques. You are encouraged to wear your uniforms. Adv Camp Baseball All-Star Showcase #1

This one-day advanced clinic will allow players to showcase their skills to pro scouts and college coaches. Players will participate in a pro-style workout in the morning to showcase their individual skills and play a live game in the afternoon to showcase their playing abilitiy. Players will be divided into four teams. Each team will go through a series of drills that will improve their mechanices in pitching, hitting, infield, outfield, and catching. There will be a tour of JCCC. Players will play a live 7-inning game. Each camper's baseball skills will be evaluated by the JCCC coaching staff. Campers will be mailed their evaluatons after the camp. Camp fee includes lunch. If inclement weather occurs, the Showcase will move indoors to the Fieldhouse.

Basketball, Boys, Competitive Edge Grades 9-12

This clinic is open to individuals entering grades 9-12. The purpose of this clinic is to teach each player how to develop their basketball skills and include physical conditioning to each players highest level. JCCC Coach Mike Jeffers and his coaching staff will direct the clinic and nationally ranked current and former college players will work with each clinic participants. Expect to work hard. You will do the drills that college players use in preparing for the upcoming season. Each clinic participants will also be exposed to the JCCC plyometric conditioning program as well as the Javorek Complex I weight lifting routine. Lunch is included. (4 sessions) $150

Basketball, Boys Team Clinic, Grades 9-12

Freshman, Junior Varsity, Varsity, and nonscholastic team (AAU, Sate Games, etc.) This is a great opportunity for you and your teammates to get some more game action. Come experience JCCC elite-level air-conditioned facilities. Each day the clinic will run promptly between 8:30am and 3:30pm. Each team is guaranteed 8 games throughout the week. The games will consist of two running clock halves, stopping only in the last minute. A game schedule along with meal times will be provided to each teams coach at the mandatory coaches meeting July 7 at 8:00am in GYM 125.

Baseball Pitching Clinic, Ages 12 - 18

Find your zone on the mound. Take this great opportunity to focus on improving your skills by working on all phases of pitching, including mental approaches, fielding and pickoffs. Baseball Indoor Hitting League-Ages 10-High School Senior

JCCC Winter Indoor League is set up to help young baseball players improve their skills during the cold Kansas winters. Live pitching and hitting will help players see as game-like competition as possible to help them prepare for the upcoming season. Games will take place in a batting cage with a live catcher, hitter, and pitcher. Different areas of the cage will be designated for singles and home runs. Games will be as game-like as possible except for base running and defense. What better way to improve your skills then to play a simulated game in an indoor cage against some of the best players in the Kansas City area! Pitchers can fine- tune their mechanics and improve their arm strength by throwing year-round. Hitters can work on their techniques while developing a better eye seeing opposing live pitching. Divisions will be based on grade level player is currently in. Teams MUST have a least 6 players and make payment BEFORE January 1st to guarantee a spot. League is filling up QUICKLY so register now! Here's your chance to participate in a sports clinic with your daughter! Morning session will be the positions clinic, Guards will concentrate on ball handling, dribbling, passing, setting screens and coming off screens, reading screens and defense. Post players will work on post moves, hi and low post moves, reading screens and post defense. Afternoon sessions will focus on shooting. Improving shooting technique though drills and will focus on lay-ups, free-throws, jump shots and 3 pointers. Lunch is provided.

Shooting camp -a specialty camp designed to break down the most critical part of the game: shooting the basketball. Videotape will be utilized to evaluate and adjust shooting technique. Special emphasis will be placed on FOOTWORK and RELEASE. Campers will be divided into 3 different age groups for drills, stations, and team play. Campers will play controlled scrimmages both morning and afternoon. Coaching staff will consist of college coaches and college-level guards. Basketball High School Team Clinic, Girls, JV and Varsity Any high school Varsity or Junior Varsity is invited to attend. Team clinic is designed to give high school teams the opportunity to compete as a team during the off-season. Each team will be guaranteed 8 games Friday and Saturday, with a double elimination tournament on Sunday. Teams should send their registrations in together with registration forms, and payments in one packet. If your team needs a coach, members of the Cavaliers Staff and Team are available to you. $100 includes meals.

Emphasis will be placed on the fundamentals of the game. Individual skills will be taught daily by an experienced coaching staff made up of college coaches and players, as well as select high school coaches. Concepts and instruction in team play will also be taught. Kids will play in controlled scrimmages every day both in the morning and afternoon. Each camper will be provided with lunch, as well as an evaluation from their coach at the end of the week.

Learn how to achieve the ultimate in athletic performance using dumbbells, barbells, sprint mechanics, basic plyometrics exercises. Athletes of any sport will benefit from this complete training. This camp will meet at Smiley's Golf Complex, which is located at K-7 and K-10 in Lenexa. This full day golf camp will give you the chance to refine your golf skills and techniques, practice drills, and course play. Begin to learn how to select the correct club for distance and accuracy to match your own abilities. Most of the day will be spent practicing and playing golf. You will become familiar with the rules of the game, scoring, and etiquette. Bring your own clubs (minimum of 7 and 9 irons, driver and putter), and golf balls (minimum one dozen). Junior clubs are highly recommended. All practice balls and green fees are included in the fee. Make sure to bring your lunch/snacks for this full day camp. The class is focused around the game of softball and will work toward imporving base-running speed and the defensive quickness of the players. The meeting will consist of various agiltiy drills and circuit training to imporve the strength and speed of the participants.

Tennis Camp, Beginning/Intermediate, B/G 10-15

Come play Around the World or World Team Tennis at this comprehensive beginning/intermediate tennis camp. The camp will be taught by Hall of Fame Coach Glen Moser and his coaching staff. The camp staff will also include JCCC Nationally-ranked tennis players. This camp is designed to help you bring your tennis game up a notch and improve your tennis fundamentals. You will participate in tennis instruction, practice drills, and participate in group competition. Meet in the JCCC Fieldhouse. Don't forget to bring your tennis racket, water bottle and sun block. Lunch is included. The camp will be held outside on the JCCC Tennis Courts. Please wear appropriate close clothing and shoes.

JCCC Winter Indoor League is set up to help young baseball players improve their skills during the cold Kansas winters. Live pitching and hitting will help players see as game-like competition as possible to help them prepare for the upcomig season. Games will take place in a batting cage with a live catcher, hitter, and pitcher. Different areas of the cage wil be designated for singles and home runs. Games will be as game-like as possible except for base running and defense. Baseball Spring Break Skills Camp, Ages 7-14

The campers will go through a drill series at the beginning of each day of camp. The drill series will cover the offensive and defensive side of baseball. The drill series will cover the fundamentals of the swing, bunting, base running, fielding, and throwing. Following the completion of the drill series, the campers will be able to choose what defensive position they want to work on. The campers will be placed in groups with their position and go through drills with JCCC baseball players. Following the defensive specialty work, the campers will play in a scrimmage game that will allow them to put their newly learned skills to use in a game situation. Lunch will be provided for all campers. All campers will also receive a JCCC Spring Break Camp T-Shirt. Due to Kansas High School baseball rules, no player that is a member of their high school baseball team may attend an organized camp.

This camp will be for TEAMS ONLY. No individual may register without their team. Two teams will be involved in each camp. The teams and coaches will be present for each two hour session. During the sessions, the players will be run through drills that will teach basic softball skills involving all aspects of the game. Defense and offense will be worked on in the camp. The players will learn the drills and improve their overall softball skillls. The coaches will learn what drills can strengthen their team's offense and defense. The coaches will also learn to organize and set up a practice, prepare for a game and coaching strategies for a game. Both teams will run through the same drills on the same day. On the last day of camp, both the players and coaches will have an opportunity to use what they have learned in a scrimmage.
