Concurrent Admission for High School and Younger Students

To be eligible for admission as a high school student concurrently enrolled at Johnson County Community College, each applicant shall be required to meet criteria, pursuant to the Kansas Board of Regents Policy for Concurrent Enrollment of High School Students in Eligible Postsecondary Institutions, Kansas Statute Annotated 72-11a03, 72-962, 72-987, 72-1111, Kansas House Bill 2575, and Kansas Senate Bill 541. 

Concurrently enrolled students (defined as a person, in grades 10, 11 or 12) must meet institutional enrollment requirements, follow institutional procedures regarding assessment/placement, and satisfy course prerequisites. Students who have not yet graduated from high school will be officially registered or enrolled as non-degree seeking students at JCCC.  Complete admission and enrollment requirements are outlined on the College Now and Quick Step sites.
