Wireless Network (Wi-Fi)
You'll need a computer or a wireless device, such as a smart phone or iPad, and an 802.11 a, b, g or N compliant wireless card. Some laptops may have internal cards.

Follow these instructions to access the wireless network using Windows XP and these instructions on a Mac.
Guests on campus must request access to the wireless network.
Where to Access Wi-Fi on Campus
You can log in to the JCCC wireless (Wi-Fi) network at the following locations on campus.
- Arts and Technology Building (ATB), auto shop area and room 123
- Billington Library (LIB) first and second floor Library Services, rooms 301 and 331
- Carlsen Center (CC), all areas
- Classroom Laboratory Building (CLB), first floor
- Commons Building (COM), all areas
- General Education Building (GEB), first floor, Hugh Speer Board Room area
- General Education Building (GEB), second floor, Community Craig Auditorium area
- Nerman Museum (NMOCA), all areas
- Regnier Center (RC), all areas
- Student Center (SC), all areas
- Science Building (SCI), addition
Use the campus map and floor plans to find the above buildings and rooms.
What You Can Access Through Wi-Fi
The wireless network works outside the campus firewall and provides access to resources similar to those found from locations off campus.
You can access MyJCCC, WebCT and e-mail through the wireless network. You can't access on-campus printers or secure servers on the wireless network.
