ECG, or electrocardiography, technicians are responsible for monitoring a patient’s heart through its electrical signals and working with other healthcare professionals to translate these results. JCCC’s program combines both classroom and clinical settings to prepare graduates for certification and employment.

This course is designed to train you for a career as an operator of assisted living facilities, residential health care facilities, home plus and adult day care facilities with information on the principles of assisted living. JCCC’s program, including a comprehensive final exam, meets the requirements to be a long-term care facility "operator" as established by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

Nursing home and assisted living administrators are responsible for the daily operation of their facilities, both clinically and administratively, as well as keeping up with changing requirements and trends. JCCC’s program combines both classroom and externship settings to prepare graduates for employment.

Preceptors prepare administrators in training (AITs) for various job roles and tasks within an adult care home facility and guide AITs throughout their practicum within the facility. JCCC’s fully online AIT Preceptor program helps to prepare preceptors for their important role by walking them through their responsibilities and providing best practices to shape the future of facility administrators.
