Learning Strategies Program

If you want to build confidence and skills in learning and improve your course grades and overall grade point average, the Learning Strategies program is designed for you.

The program's courses teach thinking, learning and self-management strategies necessary for success at the college level. These include:

  • textbook strategies
  • listening and lecture note-taking strategies
  • exam strategies
  • organizational strategies
  • time-management strategies

You must be enrolled in at least one other college level course to participate in the Learning Strategies's program, because you'll practice the learning strategies on material relevant to your current classes.
