JCCC/ESU Elementary Education Partnership

Johnson County Community College and Emporia State University have begun an exciting new venture with our 2 + 2 elementary education partnership.

JCCC students wanting to enter Emporia State University’s elementary education program can transfer directly to ESU after completing their two-year program at JCCC, and classes for the final two years of the education program are offered on the JCCC campus.

The final year of the program is the professional development school experience, which is a year-long, field-based placement in an elementary school with a highly qualified, trained mentor teacher.

We at ESU are excited about this opportunity to work so closely with the outstanding faculty and education program at JCCC.
