Counselors are available primarily on an appointment basis, but do have some limited walk-in availability. Visit www.jccc.edu/counseling for detailed days/times. To schedule an appointment with a counselor, call 913-469-3809. Limited phone appointments are available for people living outside of the Kansas City metropolitan area.

For specific questions for a counselor, please email advise@jccc.edu using your JCCC email account. If you have a specific question about your academic record, please provide your JCCC ID# in your email. Instant Message (IM) Advising)

Generally, a counselor is available to answer general questions via Instant Message (IM) Advising Mondays-Fridays 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Please do not provide us with any identifying information (JCCC ID#, social security number, etc.).
