Medical School Admissions Process

The following courses are prerequisites for admission to most medical schools:

  • Composition I and II
  • General Chemistry I and II
  • Organic Chemistry I and II
  • Biochemistry
  • Physics I and II
  • Biology (Cell and Molecular and Biology of Organisms)

In general, you should do the following by these dates:

  • By April 1 - MCAT
  • By June 1 - Apply to medical schools
