Personal Counseling and Concerns

Sometimes personal issues can affect academic progress. JCCC counselors provide a safe and confidential environment to talk about personal concerns.

We advocate for students and assist with short-term interventions in personal areas, and we make appropriate referrals for long-term care when needed.

We hope the links below will provide some helpful information, but they are not intended to take the place of discussing your concerns with a counselor.

JCCC Student Assistance Program

If you are a student, you may be referred by a JCCC counselor to our short-term student assistance program to help you with emotional or mental health issues. Call 913-469-3809 for assistance.
