Making Sustainability Accessible: A Curriculum Development Workshop

Registration Deadline August 5

A conference for faculty from all academic disciplines

2019 workshop details coming soon.

Join Johnson County Community College and the University of Kansas in our third year as an AASHE Center for Sustainability Across the Curriculum.

This two-day workshop will guide you through group work, discussion and learning lab exercises to help you make connections to sustainability within your curriculum.

Together we will explore themes of sense and place, community wellness and cooperative problem-solving to make sustainability concepts relatable to students entering any field.

Find helpful resources to design one or more assignments, course modules or other classroom activities. It will be a fun and inspiring opportunity to workshop with colleagues from your own institutions, as well as share with and learn from peer institutions in the region.

Your registration fee includes breakfast and lunch both days. Received a reduced rate when you book your room and mention JCCC’s Sustainability Conference.
